Job Description

The Associate Director position is a key role within the team with day to day client contact and overall responsibility for the smooth running of the accounts. As Associate Director, you will report directly into a Managing Partner and need to work closely with, and directly supervise Account Manager within your team.

The role is on a new and exciting key account for Starcom –a well-established FinTech brand who are expanding into new markets and areas for their business.

The Associate Director will work with the Managing Partner on all areas of account management and comms planning, on launching a new product and proposition for the finance client.

The role also works with a broad range of other divisions and specialist teams (strategy, data management, digital, performance, content, value, research, econometric modelling, etc.).  The Associate Director will be providing support as necessary in strategy development and lead tactical recommendations, as well as ensuring the smooth running of all projects worked on by the wider team.

Qualifications

The role requires team management skills, media knowledge, positive spirit, and excellent attention to detail.  Having the ability to draw conclusions based on different types of information or data is a must.

Excellent multi-tasking skills to prioritise work deliverables and strong interpersonal skills must be an inherent part of who you are. .

We expect good levels of knowledge of all media channels, and experience and a passion for innovation and change. We are looking for solid experience within an account management and communications planning role.

You should be pro-active, have inquisitive mind to ensure solid strategic inputs to the team, and a motivational leader when mentoring to train up the junior members of the team.
