Job Description

As a Digital Media Buying Assistant, you will be a key member delivering performance within your pod. You will learn best practices as they pertain to account management, financial reconciliation and become a master at various media tools. You will be expected to be on top of all plans/executions as well as be a liaison between your pod, clients and media partners to ensure the flawless execution of all media plans.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing support across the performance media team and the day to day running of campaigns
  • Actively participating in weekly client status meetings and writing of reports for key meetings to ensure action items are executed
  • Collaborating with performance specialists, managers and directors to create cutting-edge strategies to deliver on performance
  • Actively participating in the overall billing process –responsible for collecting and verifying all data inputs and ensuring billing is accurately ordered to media month of service
  • Building of media plan authorizations, OOH & print media release documents and digital trafficking sheets to ensure flawless execution of media plans
  • Mastering of various industry tools to turn data into actionable insights –DOMO, Vivadata, Comscore, Numerator, COMB Navigator and others.
  • Attending and participating in vendor presentations and mandatory training sessions e.g., vendor days, industry presentations, agency training, research etc.
  • Supporting and building of media points of view (POV’s)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications or related area
  • Passionate about digital media & technology
  • Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
  • Excellent communication skills –written, verbal and presentation
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn, adopt new technologies and solutions, and take on new opportunities
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to embrace a role that requires a mix of art and science
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Salary range: $37,000 - $45,000 per year
