Job Description

Are you currently looking for a short-term contract role?  You might be here on a working holiday or currently between roles and happy to consider a contract opportunity. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our most high profile client team at Starcom working across all channels!

The Account Manager ensures excellent client relationships and support in delivery of best in class strategic and communications planning across all channels. The role is filled with variety, with the successful candidate being exposed to a wide range of learning opportunities in this position. Your day to day could encompass any number of tasks such as responding to client requests, collaborating with agency partners, responding to briefs, presenting to clients or overseeing excellence in execution.

You will be required to:

  • Own implementational planning, client presentations and media plans
  • Balance media planning rigour with innovative / best-in-class thinking that delivers strategic planning principals.
  • Understand investment / buying approach on all paid channels
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong working relationships 
  • Become an expert on your clients’ business and category
  • Will be responsible for day to day management and learning plan of Account Coordinator and Account Executive, in collaboration with the Investment Manager

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of key media systems to include: BMD, Roy Morgan, Emma, MOVE, Nielsen Online Ratings, AQX (Essential) Google Marketing Platform (Preferred) 
  • Ideally with experience across all channels, including digital 
  • 3-5 years experience in an Account Management role from within another media agency, publisher or marketing company
