We have two main goals; accelerate data-driven marketing for our clients, and build connected cross-Groupe capability in consultancy services.

Job Description

The Director, Marketing Science Consulting EMEA will be responsible for consulting Publicis Media Agencies and Advertisers on supporting a more scientific and data-driven approach to marketing and media. The role sits within Precision, Publicis Media’s data-and-tech led practise, and reports to the Head of Solutions Consulting EMEA.

The Director is an energetic individual who possesses a combination of strong analytic, problem solving and client facing skills, working as an integral part of Precision EMEA.  The role requires the ability to proactively identify opportunities to leverage data and technology to solve business problems, and importantly influence and deliver expertise at a senior level throughout the agency and direct to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead marketing science consultancy offering for Precision EMEA to clients, including defining our services and driving revenue pipeline. Services could include consulting on KPI frameworks, segmentation modelling, custom marketing algorithms, incrementality test design, audience insights and more. This depends on the person coming into the role and areas they would like to focus on.
  • Work closely with the Data Science practice, and be the main conduit between Precision and Data Science teams, leading collaboration and joint client and agency roadmaps.
  • Support definition of marketing science best practice in addressable media (programmatic, data management platforms, social, search, advanced TV, etc) to empower local agency teams
  • Be a key stakeholder in development of analytics solutions utilising log-level data within a data lake, dashboards (Tableau), A/B testing tools and more

What are we looking for in you?

  • Excellent understanding of statistics, familiar with statistical tests and experiment design
  • Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, including KPI frameworks, consumer journeys, segmentation and targeting.
  • Experience in a combination of marketing science, analytics, media, data strategy or AdTech roles
  • You will already be in a marketing science / analytics based role, ideally with practical implementation, hands on experience, not just strategy and theory
