Job Description

This position would see you take the central day to day lead for Maserati – a very important premium automotive brand and part of FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles).

We are looking for someone with great client management skills who is also able to deliver strategic and analytical thinking. Maserati is very digitally focused with circa 80% of budget in digital channels, this candidate needs a strong digital planning and activation background across all channels. It is a great opportunity to evolve a dynamic and demanding client, working with their major European markets and now on a global basis as we have expanded our network operations to APAC and North America

The ideal candidate will be curious and analytical, looking to understand the client’s business thoroughly and then deliver effective solutions with great story-telling and leadership.  A passion for innovation is key to create personal connections in a largely automated world, tapping into the consumer’s psyche that a car is an extension of their own personality.  We’ll be looking for big thinkers, who execute the detail with diligence and take pride in their work. The candidate will have the necessary gravitas to lead high level conversations alongside Maserati’s other agencies of record including Accenture and Google who is a key media partner.

Maserati is a focus for the Global CEO of FCA so there is a requirement to be ready to act fast and to provide timely and accurate information to Maserati management in Modena. An analytical mind is essential to identify root causes and solve problems as part of their dashboard funnel analysis.

While media is at the core of what we do, we are increasingly having conversations around success metrics for the business as well as improving areas such as global data management, process, efficiencies etc.

We constantly strive to push boundaries in regards to communications, balancing our reporting and detailed analytics with our clients’ unique ways of working.  Quick turn-arounds can be the rule and having a solid team behind the product helps make it manageable on a day to day basis. Responsibilities:

-        Global Lead for Maserati – acting as a window into our network for the central client

-        Working with 20+ market teams to deliver best practice and strategy; driving standards to achieve the highest level of excellence.

-        Developing relationships and acting as the primary intermediary for relevant client-side stakeholders; ensuring you understand their business needs and objectives

-        Overseeing the central Maserati team encompassing client service personnel and activation specialists

-        Ownership and management of HQ digital budget activation, specific digital enhancement initiatives including but not exclusive to: programmatic, mobile, social, personalisation (DMP), and strategy

Qualifications

Key requirements:

An energetic Business Director looking to take the next step to hone international account handling and client leading skills. They need to have the passion to deliver strategic direction and business results across a fast-paced, forward thinking client. 

We are looking for someone who wants to sink their teeth into a key piece of business, with the drive to fully understand their client and deliver innovative, well thought out digital solutions, using accurate data, backed up by strong evidence-based recommendations.  An understanding of the automotive consumer journey is a bonus but not essential – it’s evolving and you’ll want to be at the forefront of innovation, breaking new digital ground.

You’ll have a strong digital background and be proficient across all digital media touchpoints. The right candidate should relish the chance to work as part of a fun, flexible team and have a desire to coach and develop our more junior members. 

Experience with Luxury/Premium clients and audiences is highly appreciated. Experience in international account coordination or activation is a plus as well.
