Job Description

The Account Manager will be responsible for client delivery and implementation planning; representing the agencies briefs and values, inspiring others to do the same. Delivering service and product which drives marketing led growth for our clients.

  • Responsible for preparing implementation planning responses, ensuring the plans reflect the client business needs and media environment which maximise return on investment
  • Apply relevant tools when interrogating the brief and translating into an implementation recommendation.
  • Provide an evidenced based planning response with relevant application of data and past campaign learning’s.
  • Consider all digital opportunities in implementation strategy and planning solutions
  • Prepare all relevant Media owner briefs
  • Promote the agencies specialist services and research initiatives
  • Participate in new business initiatives and build the agencies reputation with the media in line with our positioning, beliefs and values
  • Ensure that clients are informed on general media industry topics which may affect their business
  • Anticipate client needs, building long term relationships. Proactively drives the relationship with clients

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience within media planning/buying
  • The position requires a relevant tertiary qualification plus at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Thorough understanding of all media channels and industry tools.
  • Key participant in developing strategic proposals for clients.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
