CREATIVE CONTENT PRODUCER

  • Role based in Melbourne office.
  • Reports into Head of Content

Passionate about the beauty/fashion/lifestyle industry? A gun at concepting and producing high quality impactful social content for beauty brands? We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on creative content producer and subject matter expert who can brainstorm, concept, produce, curate, copywrite and publish content for one of the one of the world’s biggest beauty brands.

The role requires someone who can be client-facing, work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will have full responsibility for the social output of the brand, with the support of a community manager, and videographer/photographer.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the day-to-day social client contact and manage all requests and admin inc. WIPs
  • Execute the overarching social strategy for the brand – campaigns plus always on
  • Ideate creative social topics and concepts for presentation to the client
  • Produce story boards and mood boards to bring concepts to life
  • Produce and adhere to a monthly content calendar, including sourcing and production of all assets
  • Organise and direct social content shoots – studio and location, styling and direction of a videographer/photographer and reviewing edits/final assets
  • Write accompanying social copy in the brand tone of voice
  • Design graphics/overlays and produce gifs, basic animations and cinemagraphs
  • Produce Instagram stories using imagery, video and native platform tools
  • Source and edit imagery e.g. Getty, influencers, always adhering to copyright laws where applicable and being accountable for costs 
  • Schedule/publish, target and boost all content across Instagram and Facebook
  • Make creative recommendations on how best to produce campaigns (owned or influencer-led) that drive business results
 

Experience/Skills: 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience/ideally 4 years:
  • Working in the social space for a beauty, fashion or lifestyle brand
  • Social account and client management
  • Social production experience end to end (both hands on and managing others) incl. talent casting and location scouting
  • A robust understanding of social media formats and audience behaviours across channels and what works where and why 
  • Experience in social content production
  • Expert knowledge of beauty brands best-practice in the social space, and social media best-practice in general
  • Experience concepting, developing and managing influencer campaigns
  • Ability to ideate/conceptualise material to live in social channels
  • Good eye for film, photography and storytelling 
  • Excellent social copy writing ability with experience adopting brand tone of voice
  • Mid-weight knowledge of Adobe CC (primarily Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) 
  • Must be a social native and passionate, up to date with trends and changes in the social marketing landscape, including new apps and tech that pertains to content ideation and creation 
  • Experience in project managing in a fast-paced agency environment (agency or publisher environment preferred)
 

This role will report directly into the Head of Content. The right person will have an enthusiastic “can do” approach and will be always prepared to go the extra mile. They will have a keen attention to detail and take due care in creation of all work. They will demonstrate initiative and not be afraid to pitch in, beyond day-to-day responsibilities. They will ideally be experts in the beauty social space, with experience producing fun, well-crafted and effective beauty and lifestyle content, specifically for Instagram, stories and Facebook.
