Job Description

The Director/ VP of Client Engagement is an essential role in helping the company scale engagement with global markets, while creating processes to gain efficiencies and establish best practices. This role works alongside the Head of Global Markets, where they will be the main point of contact for all global markets, ensuring information is gathered from each team as well as push information out to them. This role requires collaboration across several functional teams within Publicis Spine, and assurance that new products are developed and deployed following a rigorous scoping and deployment process.

The Director/ VP of Client Engagement ensures streamlined communication across all parties, including executive leadership. The individual will also ensure that objectives for the organization are met with an emphasis on key deliverables.  

Core Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for global markets, acting as their advisor, and ensure consistent and efficient engagement 
  • Demonstrate diplomacy with clients and customers, patience and a flexible attitude
  •  Have a thorough understanding of clients business and align their business needs with Publicis Spine solutions 
  • Support the reporting and analytics needs of the client
  • Capture and control communication methods using RACI techniques. Assign accountability and responsibilities as needed
  • Create and maintain client status by market, collaborating with several Publicis Spine functional teams
  • Act as client advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal teams including product management, engineering, data sciences, global data partnerships, sales and finance 
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation across each client 
  • Establish and implement best practices, client management processes and thought-leadership to greater the client engagement discipline, the organization and external clients
  • Continuously pursue growth opportunities with each client 
  • Drive the on-boarding of new client accounts with successful implementation 
  • As necessary, assist in writing technical and functional requirements, during implementation
  • Effectively manage communication up to executive leadership in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years in client management experience 
  • 8-12 years technology or product development experience or managing in a consulting environment
  • Proven experience working in a complex, matrix environment
  • Proven experience in account management & client services organizations working with large clients
  • Is able to work with people with different styles and personalities
  • Ability to communicate difficult messages with tact, respect and sensitivity 
  • Can simplify and communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Ability to interact, manage and influence key stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex programs
  • Can simplify or communicate technical information to non-technical individuals 
  • Ability to tailor communication style, content and language based on listeners background, experience and responsibilities 
  • Strategic thinking and planning, with the ability to provide sound judgement in ambiguous situations
  • Commitment to excellence through continuous process improvement 
  • Highly detail oriented with a keen attention to accuracy 
  • Have the ability to work autonomously while being able to contribute successfully to cross functional teams
  • Delivers high quality work in a timely manner 
  • Maintaining appropriate visibility of status as needed 
  • Experience working in an organization that provides software as a service
  • Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time

Experience Preferred But Not Required 

  • Experience in an advertising agency environment 
  • Experience working on products, solutions, BI, or Ad Tech
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies (Scrum, ATERN, Waterfall, Prince2, etc.)
  • PMP and/or Master’s Degree
