Job Description

Work as an Agency Lead to help manage the Verizon team within Zenith consisting of 300+ employees, Verizon is one of the top spending marketers in the US. This role helps the Zenith leadership team manage the client relationship, and is an internal resource for media teams, finance and operations. You will be responsible for liaising between clients, key stakeholders (external and internal) and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions, as well as managing the overall efficiencies of the account. This position is be based in New York, reporting to the VP of Agency Relations and supervising a team of approximately 1-2 individuals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for high level account specific matters
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key clients, internal stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Manage expectations and timelines to ensure successful delivery of client focused solutions that best meet business needs and objectives
  • Collaborate across account functional teams (Strategy Planning, Buying Activation, Analytics, Finance, Operations)
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and clients (media, sourcing and agency relations) to process and execute annual and incremental scopes of work
  • Accountable to help facilitate bi-annual agency performance evaluations
  • Accountable to help manage creation of quarterly business reviews with internal agency team
  • Oversight of monthly analysis of agency staffing burn data, staff diversity and inclusion results, and tracking the completion of projects and deliverables.
  • High level oversight of Agency master service contract terms: resource for agency team
  • Oversee financial reporting for the account, contributing to a high level of innovation in budget data analytics
  • Facilitate budget management procedures and policies across the account to ensure contract compliance, consistency and accurate reporting
  • Provide insight to internal teams to aid in the creation of custom dashboard solutions to increase effectiveness and productivity across the account
  • Clearly communicate objectives and coordinate with cross-functional teams, to ensure all requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external parties
  • Identify account process gaps and implement enhancements to streamline process and gain efficiencies across the account
  • Derive insights from reports that are meaningful and provide explanations for variances over time by investigating discrepancies with information owners
  • Lead multiple projects at a time, while paying strict attention to detail
  • Assist with Audit Stewardship

Qualifications

  • BA, BS minimum
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience; Account Management/Operations or Media Planning
  • Understanding of broad range media advertising channels from National TV, Local Broadcast, OOH, Print, OLV, Search, Display, Programmatic, Social
  • Expertise in organizational planning and budget management; must be comfortable working with large data sets
  • Experience negotiating vendor or agency contracts, building scopes and staffing plans.
  • Highly organized and process driven: Process building and improvement experience.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision under pressure and short time lines.
  • Excellent written/verbal communications skills, ability to work well independently and within a team, strong follow through, takes the initiative and is proactive to understand all aspects of projects, strong sense of urgency and completing tasks in a timely manner, able to set and achieve internal deadlines, multi-tasker exuding mature attitude in fast paced environment
  • Experience with Media databases (MediaTools, MediaOcean) a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including (Word, Excel, PPT) and proven expertise in Excel complex formulas (V-look up, pivot tables)
  • Proven success in motivating and supervising staff and managing internal partners.
  • Experience in creating presentation materials for executive review.
  • Experience working up and across the organizations at various leadership levels.

 

Even better if you have experience:

  • Presenting Quarterly Business Reviews and/or agency staff/compensation models
  • Project Managing Audits with larger working team
