An exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join our award-winning Data & Analytics team.

We are a dynamic team of insight and analysis professionals looking to take on someone with a passion for data and a flair for storytelling and data analysis. Role Summary

You will be working across one or more leading brands. You will need to be dedicated in identifying areas for analysis that could optimise media or website performance. You’ll work closely with media planning, strategy and activation teams to conduct exploratory analysis and deliver insights that shape strategy. You will own and present your own work. You will demonstrate transformational insight to the client and help to push the boundaries of data being at the core of every initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to understand briefs, gather requirements and identify data sources required to solve business problems
  • Will use data from a variety of different sources (survey data, media expenditure data, reports, desk research etc.) to derive key insights to inform media strategy
  • Perform exploratory analysis to tell stories from data
  • Create measurement frameworks in order to effectively measure the outcome of media strategies
  • Work closely with data scientists in order to ascertain opportunities to use advanced analytics to deliver deeper insights 
  • Present recommendations to clients and internal teams professionally and authoritatively
  • Assist with pitches and proposal writing
  • Actively participate in raising the profile of data within the agency and proactively seek opportunities to demonstrate the importance of the work that the data team do
  • Improve processes within the team to continue to strengthen our data capabilities
  • You will proactively upskill yourself across capabilities in order to continue to develop yourself as an analyst, and keep up to date with industry trends and best-in-class solutions

Qualifications

Person Specification - Skills & Experience

  • Ability to understand the business of our clients and help to bring meaningful solutions, insights and recommendations
  • Experience in developing data strategies and providing consultancy to clients
  • Ability to challenge clients where needed and not being afraid to propose alternative solutions and methodology
  • Experience in crafting measurement frameworks
  • Demonstrable ability to create presentations and other documentation that clearly explain the analysis, insights and recommendations you have worked on, and present these findings confidently
  • Ability to problem solve with a strong analytical focus
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in either web analytics/digital (Websites, Mobile, SEO, PPC, Display etc.) or traditional media (TV, OOH, Print, Radio, Cinema etc.), with the ability to derive deep insights and make actionable recommendations
  • Ability to coach and develop other team members to develop their expertise
