Job Description

Overview:

The Financial Analyst will play an important support function while they gain company and industry knowledge and corporate finance skills. The Financial Analyst will join the Client Revenue team whose overall responsibility includes accurately recognizing the revenue of the organization, revenue forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close process, and various ad-hoc requests.
Role Objectives:

  • Maintain and update the fee structures of new and existing clients in the billing system
  • Partner with multiple parts of the organization to complete and trouble-shoot monthly client revenue reconciliations
  • Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
  • Manage and monitor the employee time entry system
  • Complete monthly billability and utilization report and maintain the source database
  • Complete and submit credit checks for new and renewal clients
  • Support the Finance Manager with revenue forecasting process
  • Support the Finance Manager with various audit requests
  • Complete multiple month-end reports
  • Support the Finance team in ad-hoc requests
  • Proactively question processes and procedures and implement change to gain efficiencies and streamline workflows
  • Show judgment on when to elevate issues/requests and when to resolve independently
  • Prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance position
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion a plus
  • Understand accounting concepts
  • Demonstrate initiative, responsibility and follow through for “owned” work
  • Possess strong organization and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to summarize a large amount of information from multiple sources
  • Maintain positive team player attitude
