Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Associate reports to the Director. The Senior Associate develops digital media strategies and coordinates media plans for our client's products and/or services. This person has experience managing, planning, and buying media campaigns with clear performance goals. This person will work closely with the media and analytics team to maintain quality control of the media campaigns in market and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals by leverage knowledge and best practices from baseline campaigns across the product portfolio. The Senior Associate is key to building and maintaining industry publisher relationships with new and evolving digital partners. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can be a mentor to fellow colleagues, a leader within the agency, and a partner with our clients. Someone solution-oriented who will be comfortable presenting to the client is ideal.

This person will help create the ‘tip of the sphere,’ so to speak, drive innovation, ideas, & products, and be malleable and nimble where necessary on a concentrated line of business that has a specific focus on building out testing opportunities for new product launches. Different from the rest of the organization, there is a level of agility, nimbleness, innovative, and scrappy thinking imperatively required of each team member. This is a test and learn environment.

Qualifications

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide media expertise, share media knowledge and provide continuous feedback
  • Develop digital media strategies and tactical approach
  • Train and mentors Associates on best practices of online media planning/buying
  • Assign and manage workload of Associates
  • Work closely with publishing partners to build and maintain relationships
  • Manage client budgets across multiple tactics (display, mobile, video, paid search, social etc.)
  • Foster environment of shared learning and acts as a trusted source of media information for agency and client meetings
  • Partner with Analytics, Ad Ops, Creative teams
  • Provide strategic insights for weekly client reports
  • Write media POVs

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • BA/BS Required
  • 1-2 years of overall media experience, online media is required
  • Performance media preferred (customer acquisition; CPA focused)
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Well versed of Ad Serving technology
  • Expert in media tools (Prisma, ComScore Inc., DCM, IAS, Innovid)
  • Experience working on retail or financial services brands is preferred, with acquisition-focused initiatives a plus
  • Ability to be flexible, pivot, think differently, be insightful, and think strategically
  • Ability to connect the dots and pieces of information gathered from multiple resources
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and contribute where help is needed
