Job Description
Saatchi & Saatchi are looking for an experienced Production Director to join their team for a maternity cover!
- 10 month contract
- June 2019 to April 2020
- Part-time 2 or 3 days per week
What we're looking for?
Role
- Work in tandem with a dedicated jobshare partner and ensure seamless handover and collaboration each week
- Drive creative operations and connect the agency’s departments – creative, production, design, digital, studio and account management.
- Manage the day-to-day resourcing, scoping, estimating, execution, quality control and general ownership of all integrated productions.
- Be a point of escalation for Senior Management if and when required.
- Champion production processes (new and existing), documentation and workflows whilst ensuring the highest possible creative quality.
- Manage all forms of art buying including the selection of photographers, management of pre-production, shoot production, post production, talent usage, illustration, CGI and retouching.
- Support creative, production and business management teams with key client meetings as required
- Autonomously project manage the agency’s new business pitches
- Forecast requirements and resources based on workflow and provide updates to senior management
- Nurture and support a team of integrated producers
- Promote collaboration between Sydney and Melbourne agency and contribute towards a national process
- Be the point of escalation for production team and other departments
- Provide some holiday cover (beyond 2-3 days) if required
About you
- Extensive experience in integrated production and creative services; you know how an agency operates
- 360 degree experience with complex integrated campaigns (content, print, digital etc) with solid with a background in either project management or account management
- Good negotiation skills and high level of diplomacy
- Able to prioritise and take ownership of deliverables
- Curious and interested in innovative solutions and improving efficiencies within creative and production team
- Ability to make things happen - you’re resourceful and industrious
- Able to troubleshoot and analyse tasks from multiple points of view
- Excellent attention to detail – you check everything, then check it again
- Ability to manage workflows of both creative and studio teams
- You exude calm and positivity
- Collaborative and empathetic with all department’s needs – planning, creative, account management and production
- Strong leadership, proficient in conflict resolution and comfortable in managing and balancing different needs of Senior Management as and when required
