Job Description

The SEO Analyst is responsible for supporting client accounts towards stated client and company objectives. Reporting to a SEO Manager, the Analyst provides assistance to internal client service teams, and at the direction of SEO Manager/Associate Director, initiates and coordinates projects working with other internal departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Service & Program Support
•    Directly leads client engagements
•    Follows all processes as defined by departmental management
•    Creates and follows a self-directed learning plan to master SEO fundamentals
•    Project manages components of a larger account
•    Gains exposure to client service process, including resourcing, project management, and client communications
•    Supports SEO Managers/Associate Directors
•    Participates in weekly/monthly client calls
•    Submits and manages resource plan requests and QA
•    Assists with data/performance monitoring
•    Implements best practices in account and program management
•    Possesses a basic understanding of clients and partner agencies functions
•    Accomplishes multiple tasks in a timely manner and with accuracy
•    Effectively contributes to multiple accounts simultaneously
•    Maintains autonomy during execution of pre-defined tasks
•    Seeks out opportunities to learn new skills, advance in role, and demonstrate autonomy
•    Understands essential components of managing a successful SEO project
•    Develops skills as an expert in specific areas
•    Proves understanding of larger landscape of a large client and how small tasks affect the big picture
•    Identifies opportunities to grow and develop client relationships
•    Reverse mentoring with another colleague of a different channel expertise

Analytics & Reporting
•    Supports assigned accounts in pulling data and creating reports and presentations
•    Tracks work assignments daily
•    Manages and updates client task reports
•    Tracks and manages Operations resource plan for client accounts
•    Performs adhoc analysis and reporting

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    Relevant SEO work or internship experience preferred 
•    Experience in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, BrightEdge, Moz, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or Conductor is a plus
•    Strong analytical and implementation skills
•    High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
•    Internet experience preferred
•    Able to work as directed and balance multiple tasks
