Job Description

Blue 449 is looking for a Digital Investment Media Planner to join our team. This position will report into a Supervisor while helping to manage an Assistant Media Planner[s]. We are looking for a hard-working and talented individual who is passionate about building and growing his or her career in the digital marketing field.

Responsibilities:
Media Competencies
• Develop and execute various digital investment planning scenarios based on media objectives and strategies
• Work with other members of the media team in daily media responsibilities including maintaining and implementing ad tagging on network of sites
• Manage the tracking, delivery and measurement of online campaigns and compile weekly performance reports, as necessary
• Oversee RFP process, from initial publisher distribution, to gathering and preparing of insertion orders, and maintaining records of all campaign activities for auditing purposes
• Utilize appropriate planning/investment tools to achieve optimum performance for online media campaigns; maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies to continually enhance campaign execution
• Develop client-facing POVs on industry trends and patterns
Relationship Development
• Maintain and grow relationships with interactive media advertising representatives
 Financial Competencies
• Manage media budgets for assigned clients
 Leadership & Management Competencies
• Maintain high level of work quality
• Manage and mentor assigned Assistant Media Planners
• Participate in ongoing agency-wide knowledge sharing

Qualifications

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of online media planning and negotiating experience in an interactive agency
Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or related program
• A complete knowledge of interactive marketing concepts and practices as well as a familiarity with offline media concepts
Strong mathematic and analytical skills
Required software proficiencies: Microsoft Suite, AdServer, Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, Google Analytics, other software as needed

• Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
• Experience analyzing complex data, market research, formulating actionable plans
