Team/Department Profile:

The Starcom planning department incorporates clients such as Samsung, Lidl, Airbnb, FCA and Kraft Heinz. 

FCA:

  • A win for Starcom in 2017, the FCA and Starcom relationship has continued to go from strength to strength, culminating in the recent NAFTA win of FCA in the US. You’ll be part of a team looking to push the boundaries even further.
  • We’ll be working extensively with multiple agency partners to deliver fully integrated marketing solutions for their fast-paced business, as well as working as a key market with our European Hub function.
  • The role would see you working across main day to day account for two of the automotive brands, so you’ll need to be able to manage your time to ensure delivery of quality output whilst co-ordinating across a number of internal and external teams.

Job Description

Role:

This position would see you working on the day to day account management for FCA, working across Fiat and Abarth.

We’re looking for someone with a strong passion for planning, a good understanding of all channels but with a digital focus.  It’s a great opportunity to work with two very exciting brands, as well as getting exposure to working with our European hub and the precision buying teams across online and offline channels.

You will be involved in consumer insight and media planning and, crucially, internal and external facing account management.

FCA is fast-paced; the development of client relationships is therefore imperative, being able to demonstrate to the client a thorough understanding of their business to land key recommendations. We want people with a strong foundation in media planning who is seeking to widen their base of media knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate will be curious and analytical, looking to understand the client’s business thoroughly and deliver quality work every time.  Diligence and enthusiasm are the key traits we’re looking for, demonstrated by executing excellent work and a desire to take ownership and apply initiative.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for helping to take briefs from clients, build and analyze audience profiles, report on competitor activity, present back to clients, and work with the activation teams to report campaign status and performance
  • Good knowledge of systems, particularly Ad Dynamix, TGI and preferably DDS
  • Carrying out regular and ad hoc tasks specific for your discipline and client as directed by your line manager and team
  • Ensure Planning SOX files are up to date and accurate
  • Be the key POC for finance/PO queries

  • We are looking for someone who is pro-active and will take an active role in helping the team to get their work done better and quicker, bringing energy, enthusiasm and ideas. 
  • We are looking for someone with strong planning experience, who is comfortable delivering day to day tasks such as TGI, Touchpoints, AdDynamix etc. Client management is also an important part of this job, so presentation skills and confidence are also key.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills in leading cross-channel resources, resolving conflicts, fostering alignment, and gaining commitment.
