Job Description

And one of the key roles within the integrated production team at Leo Burnett is that of the Senior Digital Producer, being responsible for leading the internal digital talent and resources, as well managing external relationships with suppliers and partners.

    The Senior Digital Producer at Leo Burnett leads the realisation of digital experiences from ideation, to production, to optimization through leading the project end to end to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, on strategy and to the highest creative standards which Leo Burnett are known for.

    As the Senior Digital Producer you will need to demonstrate ability to deliver outstanding work, on time and on budget whilst maintaining great working relationships with all departments. You will need to be solutions focused and the ‘go to’ person on our largest accounts. You will be a fountain of knowledge, have a passion for digital and work towards the common goal of being the best creative agency in the world, bar none.

    Leo Burnett have an integrated production team, so you will be open to running projects that require deliverables across multiple channels including, print, broadcast, content etc… however primary focus will be on leading digitally focused integrated campaigns.

    PRODUCT

    Run Digitally Focused Projects

    • Review digital ideas with creative department and provide digital concept consulting
    • Generate ideas and recommendations about how to enhance the digital experience including graphic design and rich media content (video, audio, 3D, HTML5, flash animation)
    • Flag any production challenges and assist with realizing a big idea in a manageable way

    Develop Project Plans and Documentation

    • Define the scope of work for the project
    • Determine appropriate financial and talent resources required to complete the project
    • Determines timelines and set milestones
    • Plan budget and how resources are allocated across the project
    • Develop annotated wireframes

    Technical Planning & Implementation

    • Provide insight and recommendations for feasibility exploration
    • Identify functional requirements and technical environment for digital experience

    Source and Engage Digital Suppliers

    • Identify third party suppliers/specialists when required
    • Manage supplier selection process
    • Negotiate and execute supplier engagement agreements

    Manage Project and Delivery

    • Monitor and uphold creative integrity during production
    • Manage changes in project scope with clients and suppliers and report risk assessment
    • Budget management
    • Identify and mitigate all legal, clearance, and intellectual property issues 

    PROFIT

    Accountability

    • Ensure project is delivered on time, on budget and on strategy

    Financial Management

    • Estimating and ensuring project profitability through accurately capturing time and managing resources, scope creep and rounds amends.

    Negotiation

    • Maximizes the value of client budgets and usage of partners by bargaining with suppliers

    The successful candidate MUST possess the following qualities:

    • Natural Leader (not just a skilled manager) with proven leadership skills – having managed large projects, people/teams, setting up processes and work flows, effective management of resources;
    • Excellent technical knowledge – does not need to know how to code, but will need to know enough about current and upcoming technologies to provide the best technical solutions and scope projects effectively to provide efficient solutions;
    • Genuine passion for creative and innovation – pushing the boundaries and providing solutions that get results without compromising the integrity of the creative product;
    • Process driven, financially responsible, business savvy and solutions focused;
    • Integrated skills – at the very least a great knowledge of other production disciplines and techniques, if not hands-on experience. Digital production is part of the greater Integrated Production team at Leo Burnett and the right candidate will poses a genuine passion for and great interest in providing integrated solution where possible;
