Job Description

We are looking for a talented, strategic and creative thinker and an amazing team builder and leader to join our national Content Marketing Team as the Head of Content/Content Strategy Director!

 

Our Content Marketing Team works with brands and partners to create and implement custom and curated social and editorially-driven content strategies across the wider digital channel mix.

 

As a senior member of that team, you will take an active role in the development and growth of our 360 content offering alongside our national team and Digital Director, both through new business development and organic growth.

You are intellectually curious, an experienced strategic and creative thinker, constantly keeping abreast of developments in the content marketing industry and competitors.

 

You are comfortable taking the lead on a new project or contributing to a pitch at a moment’s notice. You are entrepreneurial, willing to take an active role in the development and growth of our Content practice and thrive off a fast-paced environment.

 

You must be/have

 

  • A digital channel expert with a solid understanding of the overall media landscape, online media planning, implementation and optimisation
  • A deep knowledge of digital media consumption habits in and out of social
  • 4-6 years’ experience in a relevant strategy role (experience must be current and preferably gained publisher-side or in a content marketing team media/creative agency-side)
  • A track record of developing successful multi-channel content strategies for brands and advertisers (with prior experience of the financial services, automotive and FMCG sectors an advantage)
  • A strong grasp of SEO, influencer marketing and other key amplification methods with wider PR knowledge a bonus
  • Well-versed in all aspects of content strategy development, content creation and management
  • The ability to turn overarching brand platform ideas into content strategies and translate that strategic thinking into on-brief creative concepts and effective content
  • Boundless creativity and the ability to think out-of-the-box, with effective creative brainstorming, ideation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex strategic and creative concepts in simple ways
  • Highly competent in social and media listening
  • The ability to build and manage teams (prior experience required), multitask in a fast-paced environment and work in a multi-discipline collaborative environment
