Job Description

The Senior Analyst provides support and ensures timely and accurate completion of campaign deliverables.  They play a central role in Web marketing, campaign execution, and quality assurance, as a Senior Analyst, takes responsibility for the daily pre and post trafficking tasks of online ad campaigns.  At the end of the tenure, the Senior Analyst will have a strong understanding of the tasks involved in campaign implementation, execution and a concrete and extensive understanding of the Zenith marketing process and media tracking and tagging platforms.

Job Experience

Prefer minimally, one year of experience in an online advertising or marketing-related field.  Candidate should have clear understanding of the internet and must be comfortable with technology.  Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months experience in media, project management or ad operations environment.

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (exceptions would be considered on a case-by-case basis where demonstrated experience and/or skill set warrants)

Essential Job Functions

  • Team Support 
  • Work side-by-side with the media and creative teams to activate digital campaigns (display, video, social, mobile, and programmatic)
  • Support Operations Specialist/Operations Manager in campaign executions
  • Collect creative/technical specifications
  • QA campaign elements (pre and post launch)

 

 

 

Plan Execution

  • Aid in collecting creative/technical specifications from sites on all creative units.  Specifications include but are not limited to: K sizes, ad dimensions, technical capabilities, traffic deadlines etc. specific to each site
  • Handle all aspects of the trafficking process, including connecting placements to creatives, setting up consistent configurations, and collecting clean data
  • Instruct relevant parties on implementation of tags/code to ensure the integrity of the test plan
  • QA all campaigns elements (responsibilities may vary pending complexity of campaign)
  • Ensure all creative units, placements, click-through URLs, click commands are correct and correspond to the traffic sheet prior to campaign launch
  • Maintain weekly QA and assist other teams with best practices

 

 

Technical Responsibilities

  • Identify recurrent issues and alert, Operations Specialist/Manager to specific issues and  possible solutions
  • Collaborate with vendors on behalf of creative agencies when troubleshooting is required
  • Responsible for learning and keeping up to date with the latest in trafficking and media industry trends
  • Become proficient in Microsoft Excel and third party ad servers (Google Campaign Manager, Adform, etc)
  • Attend and participate in presentations from vendors and/or conferences offering media solutions that may be relevant to the Media Operations group
