Job Description

The Data and Platform Solutions group is a specialized team within the agency acting as digital data and ad technology experts.

The Supervisor, Data and Platform Solutions will be responsible for applying expertise in how audience data and technology can help impact a client’s business through better marketing decisions. You will act as day-to-day lead engaging with media teams to translate the client goals and objectives into actionable data applications.   You will have a thorough understanding of the client’s tech partner relationships and the ability to grow these relationships. Audience data can help make smarter media decisions and this position is geared to helping facilitate the integration of this process into a media team. This will include media oversight and involvement of client’s DMP, DSP/Programmatic Strategy, MTA, and DCO/Data drive creative.

This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual works with clients and internal stakeholders to educate on uses of data, drive innovation in the data and tech space, partner with analytics to create test plans, generate key insights and profiles to align with strategic planning, and maximize the value of client partnerships.  Strong analytical and organizational skills including the ability to reprioritize and load balance quickly are a must. 

In this role, you will:

  • Guide and drive use of audience data to create new or improve existing media strategies for client account(s) based on overall objectives
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with current ad tech vendors
  • Assist in scoping new ad tech vendors who can provide value to the business
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships focused on data
  • Act as resource to demonstrate agency knowledge of digital strategies
  • Stay apprised of new and emerging technology, media trends, and creative and programming applications with a focus on DMP/Programmatic and providing education internally or to clients when necessary
  • Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos, and correspondence from within and outside the agency).
  • Prepare and present data strategy plans.
  • Integrate with the Media Planning team to make data management a central tool for smarter planning.
  • Lead weekly media meetings with clients/internal teams and providing insight into audience insights and results.
  • Build and maintain relationships with audience data partners and internal agency counterparts.
  • Understand and adopt new trends and/or processes in Interactive Media for clients and the agency.
  • Managing the process of defining audiences to be leveraged, sharing of data with partners, and tracking and compiling performance reports regarding audience groups.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of billable and non-billable time.
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or MBA, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Data Science
  • 3+ years in digital media, ad technology, or account planning, with special emphasis on planning and creating insights related to consumer segments
  • 3+ years with increasing responsibility within an agency or media company
  • 1+ years of people managing experience
  • Data and Programmatic Marketing subject knowledge
  • Understanding of campaign management/ad serving technology (i.e. Double Click DART, Atlas)
  • Working knowledge  DSPs, third party audience data
  • Understanding of digital advertising landscape from either media planning or sales planner perspective
  • Experience with rich media and data driven creative
  • Experience analyzing data and market research
  • Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing multiple, co, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
