Job Description

Overview:
Performics is looking for an Account Manager to join our Blue 449 Performance Media team. This position will work on a large ROI driven SEM account for one of the Fortune 500 top technology clients. This role reports into an Account Director, and works extremely closely with other Account Managers.

Role Objectives:

  • Manage Paid Search (PPC, SEM) campaigns for dedicated client(s):
  • Take ownership of day-to-day optimizations and general account management
  • Demonstrate ability to translate goals into actions
  • Create, maintain, and execute weekly, monthly, quarterly deliverables and presentations
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and glean insights
  • Opportunity to own day-to-day client relationship
  • Initiate new testing ideas and bring innovation to the account
  • Provide training and coaching to the Assistant Account Manager
  • Closely collaborate with account teams on other business units of the same client
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Finance teams

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

·       BA or BS in marketing, business, mathematics, advertising, or psychology-related field preferred

·       1+ years of experience working in paid search advertising

·       Specific paid search technical skills: DoubleClick/Marin/Kenshoo, AdWords/Bing Ads, Omniture/Google Analytics

·       Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

·       Strong working understanding of the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) industry including major players and supporting technologies

·       Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly in the area of explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles

·       Experience working on retail/ecommerce account with ROI goal is preferred

·       Strong leadership skills with proactive and can-do attitude

·       Great team player who enjoys learning from and sharing ideas with other people 

·       Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

·       Detail oriented and organized to guarantee work load efficiency and accuracy

·       Strong analytical mindset
