Job Description

  • Knowledge:

1) Be able to develop a good rapport with media owners and colleagues within Spark Foundry and the creative agencies

2) Begin to develop an understanding of the client’s business, their products, services, customer profile, marketing and business objectives, competitors and sales

3) Sound knowledge of the media market place and opportunities available

4)Build and maintain media knowledge of the market, consumer and media research available

  • Skills:

1) Possess good communication and selling skills

2) Be numerate, literate and accurate in all aspects of your work

  • Product:

1)To undertake projects as requested on new business

2)To work closely with the finance department to generate periodical reconciliation and manage ad-hoc vendor issues

3)To start to foster relationships with the clients where the planner is respected for their media skills and ability to add value to the effectiveness of clients’ media investment

  • People:

1)To manage the day to day requirements from the subordinates (ME / JME)

  • Operations:

1)To have a strong relationship with media vendors, be able to push them in order to meet client’s deliverables and expectations in liaison with the MBU

2)To work with Buying Team:  Provide them with an investment brief, Collaborate in the development of implementation plan, Liaise with them regarding any issues on on-going plans

3)To work closely with the finance department to generate periodical

5)To help the team as required, e.g. perform competitive analyses, answering direct information requests, evaluation of media options To be involved in helping develop & deliver competitive / plan rationale presentations

6)Integrate research correctly in planning process
 Analyze all new research and present to clients – under supervision of Media Supervisor / Team Head

7) Set up and traffic digital creatives, Ad-serving and tagging for regular and performance campaigns 

8) Assess the impact of different types of media (Social + Display + Mobile + Precision) when targeting audiences and the suitability of media channels for different target markets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Media Planning role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
