Job Description

The Manager, Digital Vendor Contract Operations ensures strong contracts are in place, which helps reduce the risk of media executions running out of compliance and effectively protects clients and agencies in the event that they do.  More specifically, this role oversees terms and conditions management in the digital media insertion order system, providing guidance to digital buyers ranging from junior level planners/buyers through executive leadership, negotiating deviations to standard business terms with digital vendors, consulting legal as necessary, connecting with Contract Operations leads across other Publicis agencies, and educating and training Spark Foundry digital teams (sharing best practices, socializing guidelines).

Responsibilities

Operations/Systems
• Update digital vendor Terms & Conditions (Ts&Cs) references in Prisma
• Manage Prisma Supplier set up process and maintain approved Supplier list
• Work with Publicis and Mediaocean to enhance Ts&Cs module in Prisma

Vendor
• Provide guidance to digital teams on how to handle various types of vendor resistance to our agency’s terms
• Review and approve IO Notes on business terms (e.g., tracking, reporting, flighting, etc.) and various riders from vendors for digital media
• Route legal term modifications and NDAs to ReSources legal, custom content programs to Business Affairs and questions on centrally managed ad tech/data/research partners to Precision Partnerships

Agency
• Join Publicis Contract Operations Team status calls to represent Spark Foundry and escalate issues to PMX Contract Operations
• Adhere to Contract Operations playbook and develop agency specific processes
• Educate media teams on Contract Operations and provide relevant Contract Operations updates to agency as needed

Client
• Provide guidance on our Ts&Cs with vendors to media teams to relay to clients raising questions
• Review any client specific Ts&Cs/IO Notes to ensure they are more aggressive than our agency standards

Qualifications

• 4-6 years related digital buying experience
• Operations savvy
• Proficient with OX / Prisma system is desired
• Strong leadership and management capabilities
• A people person with ability to communicate at all levels who will have various levels of digital knowledge
