Publicis Media’s campaign product serves as the core platform that enables Publicis Media agency teams to perform all of the tasks involved with designing, activating, and measuring media plans across channels and markets.  The Product Management team is pivotal in defining product features and requirements to deliver successful and innovative technology solutions.  The Product Manager, Platforms is responsible for understanding the business challenges, defining the product roadmap, and building and scaling products across agencies.

 

There is an emphasis on understanding the inner workings of the core platforms in the digital media space and how teams interface with platforms throughout the campaign lifecycle. 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with agency client teams to gather requirements and document business needs
  • Interface with product support and client services to document, prioritize and triage bugs and usability feedback 
  • QA new features and optimizations to inform product sign offprior to production release
  • Manage the development of detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation required to translate business needs into product features
  • Prioritize product backlog and ensure user stories are groomed ahead of sprint planning
  • Partner with UI/UX team to improve product usability and experience
  • Analyze inner workings and APIs of key platforms in the media space (DCM, AdWords, Facebook, Innovid, TTD..)
  • Prototype potential solutions to validate concept and hypothesis with users
  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop product documentation, training content, and sales materials

 

 

 

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of product-related experience; a focus within media planning, buying, and reporting is ideal
    • Working knowledge of core platforms in digital media: DCM, Facebook, AdWords, TTD, DBM, Prisma
    • Strong understanding of media planning, buying and ad operations processes
    • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements in support of technical product development
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
