As the Community Manager, you are responsible for creating and growing social communities.

You pride yourself and are passionate about staying current with the latest social media and mobile trends.

You are both creative AND strategic.

You can manage multiple activities such as community management, monitoring, listening, creating editorial content calendars, managing different stakeholders, analysing social activities, identifying opportunities and generating reports.

The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record developing, maintaining and analysing social media initiatives, with a strong knowledge of how to attract and retain a specific demographic.

They will excel at crafting content strategies with effective communications to social influencers and followers across multiple platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram amongst others)

Track and report on success metrics.

We are looking for someone with their finger on the pulse, who thrives on being connected to the social world and all that is trending in it.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of best practices on social media platforms, especially Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Snapchat and Instagram.
  • Strong writing skills, plus impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of digital PR, social marketing and crisis consultancy, with a deep understanding of how to create engaging experiences and articulate them through a multitude of social, digital and mobile channels.
  • Strong understanding of budget allocation and current social media ad formats to recommend sound strategies
  • Advanced experience with Social/Digital listening, tools, approaches to measurement/metrics, reporting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis, compile and interpret results.
