The Solutions Architect will play a key role on our Platform Solutions team as a contributing solutions interface for client teams and internal agencies and hubs. This role will be responsible for providing the engineering solutions that empowers Publicis Groupe to maximize the potential of the Publicis PeopleCloud platform.

You will apply your technical knowledge and expertise as member of the Solutions Squad team, working closely with Product, Partnerships, Client Services and Market leads to provide solutions that wow our clients, both internal and external. You will be responsible for developing and delivering customized solutions, ecosystem integrations, and being a subject matter expert on the Publicis PeopleCloud platform. You will design and build highly dynamic, data-driven solutions and keep current on the latest developments and trends in technology. The role is also client-facing, working with the Global Client leads on platform-driven solutions to solve business problems throughout client design and implementations.

The ideal candidate will have current, hands-on engineering experience developing at-scale, service-oriented software using the best cloud offerings from Amazon, Microsoft and Google. You will also have a working knowledge of the Ad Tech and Marketing Tech landscapes. Finally, you will be a passionate team player with an affinity for innovative thinking and quality execution.

Core Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to drive Publicis Spine's mission to grow our clients' businesses through the transformative application of data. Your key priorities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing technical consulting services to the Publicis PeopleCloud platform in client and partner meetings
• Engineering customized solutions that solve business problems through technology stacks
• Working on team responsible for designing and developing customized solutions that solve business problems through technology stacks
• Leading technical design and implementation of practical, sustainable project solutions utilizing cloud services
• Identifying appropriate cloud service solutions to support client or product needs
• Keeping a pulse on evolving cloud services across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
• Encouraging team awareness and adoption of relevant emerging technologies
• Openly and clearly communicating project status, risks and challenges
• Flexible to be pulled into project deliveries requiring either coding or configuration tasks

To successfully accelerate and impact the business objectives in this role, you must bring a fresh perspective with prior experience. Qualification requirements and experience include but are not limited to:

• B.S. in Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics
• 5-7 years of software development, cloud-based services or data engineering experience
• Experience with deploying cloud-based solutions and utilizing cloud services, e.g. Amazon. Multi-cloud experience is preferred
• Experience preferred in either Python or Java programming languages
• Experience preferred with Dockers containers and container frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes
• Experience engineering security compliant web applications and/or data services
• Experience preferred with working with large data sets or data driven applications
• Experience implementing Identity and Access management systems
• Experience working effectively as technical team member in a client facing role
• Possess business acumen and skill necessary to communicate technical specifications based on client business problems
• Experience or willingness to be involved with cloud-based DevOps, data integration, or API development tasks
• Experience preferred with working with large data sets or data driven applications
• Understanding of software engineering methodologies such as object-oriented design and design patterns
• Good team skills – you’re diplomatic in negotiating and resolving conflicts
• Passionate and flexible to learn new things

Candidate must have a senior level background in at least 2 of the following skill set needs:

• Experience developing micro services designs, API Management Layers, etc.
• Experience building and deploying API services and system integration platforms
• Experience working on cloud functions and server less designs (e.g. Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, etc.)
• Experience working with DevOps frameworks and CI (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure services, network security, and ability to build private cloud environments (e.g. AWS VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, etc.)
• Experience working with a range of database and data integration technologies (e.g. MySQL, Hadoop Distros, BigQuery, DataFlow, Redshift, etc.)
• Experience building Machine Learning pipelines and automation (e.g. Spark, Cloud ML, Amazon ML, etc.)
