Job Description

Role Overview

This is a specialist Strategy position on a large client, and a rare opportunity for a keen communications strategist to gain some brilliant experience on a key agency account!

  • As Account Director, you would be tasked with taking the initial brief from the client and marrying audience insight to their strategic ambitions.
  • You'll be leading the creation, direction and on-going development of your client’s media strategy, injecting innovation into all media solutions.
  • Working closely with your comms planning counterparts and your counterparts in the investment teams, you'll ensure ultimate quality control of all plan execution with the support of a Planner to build out the strategic recommendation for briefs, ranging from five to eight figure budgets.
  • Externally facing, you will represent the Blue 449 culture and our Open Source, Business Outcome First proposition at all times whether dealing with clients, suppliers or partner agencies.
Key Objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client contacts, internal team and partner agency members
  • Manage and develop direct report, ensuring they are motivated and fulfilling their development objectives
  • Alongside BD and Managing Partner actively contribute to the creation, direction and on-going development of media strategy and inject innovation
  • Build a positive profile internally with senior members of Blue449
  • Communicate Blue 449 structure and positioning within Publicis Media externally
  • Grow new business experience and become a valued contributor

Qualifications

  • You should have strong knowledge of all media channels with a passion for strategy.
  • Strategy experience within a media agency environment is preferred
