There is a real focus within Publicis Groupe to develop a strong commerce proposition which we can take to our existing and prospective clients; there are strong pockets of expertise with the group and the challenge is working through what combination of resource is required to deliver on specific client briefs. We work closely with the wider Publicis Media Commerce practice to productise our approach and standardise solutions for clients, whilst benefitting from a very diverse set of people expertise and products.

This role will play a key role in delivering on the Media & Measuements solutions for our top clients. You will become an expert in  trading  solutions with the UK and consult on Global opportunities, working closely with partners to extract the maximum value of trade deals for our clients. You will be eager to understand the complexities of the trading environment and be a go to for our clients on a regular basis.

 

 

 

Job Description

Role:

This role is responsible for driving the Retailer.com partner performance for Starcom clients. You will need to commercially astute, develop opportunities to evolve client's relationship with their partners.

Reporting into the Head of Commerce you will be skilled in leading and inspiring the client with actionable insights that drive sales.

 KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 ·        To support and drive strategies for retailer.com partners to achieve sales objectives and the best deals for our clients.

·        To activate trade deals on behalf of our clients’ brands with online retailers

·        Responsible for building retailer.com sales plans and forecasting based on performance.

·        Work closely with the media planning teams to develop new initiatives  and joint business plans to grow the client's retailer business through special programmes, media acquisition and retention.

·        Present and feedback on Retailer.com performance to the client in the weekly online trade meetings/monthly meetings, taking ownership of sales driving actions.

·        Own and develop strong working relationships with clients and online Retailer.com  teams. Regularly schedule and lead all retailer.com meetings to drive the business and maintain commercial relationships.

·        Inspire Starcom planning teams on the importance of commerce, coach teams on new commerce developments as well as ad-hoc training sessions to allow the wider teams to develop capabilities.

·        The successful candidate must be commercially forward-thinking, very pro-active and have the agility to be reactive when necessary, be passionate about E-commerce and analytics and understand customer segment behaviour.

·        They should be able to make short and long term business recommendations and will need to be flexible with a hands-on approach, showing good interpersonal and communication skills, which will be used to build relationships with the clients and their retailer partners.

·        Be the key person in the team for organisation and activation, the team works at pace and you will need to be super organised taking the initiative in making sure everything is in place and working well.

 

Qualifications

·        Experience:

 ·        Experience of online trading, preferably within B2C retail

·        Experience in reviewing online trades over a week, analysing and presenting results  

·        Solid knowledge of UX, UI and customer journey principles

·        Knowledge of media and buying processes.

·        Analytical and numerical with strong reporting skills.

·        Communication & influencing acumen.

·        Strong attention to detail.

·        Highly organised to ensure the smooth running of projects.

·        Ability to think commercially.

·        2-5 years trading experience, what’s most important to us for this role is aptitude, attitude and potential.
