The Acquisition practice is one of the largest in the Agency landscape, with experience in all areas of the discipline, from Network, Publisher, Client and Agency backgrounds.

Job Description

Specifically the role encompasses:

  • Strategic management of Clients business and responsibility for all aspects of tactical implementation;
  • Aid in the swift and efficient delivery of new affiliate on boarding objectives;
  • Maintaining close relationships with top Publishers, other agency co-workers and Clients.
  • Managing budgets and forecasting in line with other online media channels to ensure the client is spending efficiently;
  • Reporting on performance to the client on a regular basis with insights into the programme and highlighting any additional opportunities for growth;
  • Results analysis of past campaign data to influence future campaigns or opportunities;
  • Liaising and negotiating priority levels of exposure with best performing publishers to maximise delivery and maintain client costs;
  • Develop new opportunities by keeping in close contact with industry news, events, publishers and personalities;
  • Budget and sales reconciliation support for the affiliate teams client base;
  • Provide weekly insight into your accounts performance and highlight areas of growth or risk, both internally and externally
  • Understanding and supporting affiliates with tracking issues, reporting problems or interface issues across a variety of affiliate network technologies;
  • Compiling and presenting results to your clients.
  • Managing direct reports and mentoring other junior members of the team, supporting them in their development and growth and assist them with their client responsibilities

 

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who is passionate about online and performance led marketing to join our Acquisition team.

Preferably, you will have had experience working in either a Media Agency, Affiliate Network, Client side or Affiliate Company running affiliate campaigns.

This role is ideal for a candidate with solid affiliate experience who is looking to further expand their knowledge in a fast paced company that integrates affiliates into the online marketing mix.

We would look favourably on a person who has experience owning and managing key client accounts, delivering best in class service and affiliate strategy. To flourish in our team’s culture, you will need to be a proactive self-starter who has entrepreneurial spirit and preferably has previous managerial experience.

ROI is central to all performance clients, strong analytical and inquisitive mind is required. You must be numerate, have great attention to detail and show accuracy in your work.

Working to deadline and being effective under pressure is critical, you need to have strong admin skills, the ability to adapt to fast and changeable environments and be able to manage tasks concurrently and consistently to drive high – quality work to a timescale. Ideally you should be proficient in the use of media booking and research systems such as Prisma, and have good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.

We need you to have strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to build and maintain strong effective relationships with media owners, agency co-workers and your clients. The ability to push back and challenge when necessary is a positive trait.

The ability to work strongly both within the team and independently is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are paramount. Good presentation skills are required for this role with previous experience of presenting in front of clients ideal, but not essential.

We pride ourselves on our very strong client relationships and therefore you need to have strong client servicing skills as well as strong project management skills and are able to create processes where necessary to improve team efficiency and quality of work.
