Job Description

We share a passion for high-performance, strategy, and collaboration across all Performics departments, other Publicis Groupe agencies, and prospective client teams to deliver world-class pitches and accelerate growth.

 

The Associate Director, Business Development will be a critical contributor to the delivery of Performics revenue growth, responsible for leading pitch engagements, elevating our strategic proposition, and connecting key talent to produce pitch outputs. The Associate Director will also lead Performics’ efforts in communicating with potential clients and fitting their digital needs to Performics’ service offerings. The Associate Director will report into the Vice President, Business Development. Role location flexible to wherever Performics US offices are located (i.e., NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, Atlanta).

 

Role Objectives: Lead Teams to Produce Winning Work

·        Lead all aspects of prospective client relationships from outreach/prospecting to negotiation/close through transitioning the account to a full-service team, specifically:

·        Support the business development team in consulting with client prospects to determine exact needs

·        Work with subject matter experts across the agency and Groupe to create holistic solutions for prospective clients

·        Identify high-level media and content challenges and then leverage agency resources to perform audits which determine strengths and weaknesses of clients’ current program

·        Present Performics story and articulate the value of media or content towards the clients business goals

·        Work with agency team members to develop the overarching storyline, strategies, and tactics for client prospects that maximizes proposed program results

·        Lead the creation of custom presentations that communicate the program’s value proposition in relation to the client’s unique opportunities (pitch)

·        Drive ongoing innovation around the business development process to improve demonstration of value to prospects/clients

·        Build strong and connected teams to help clients solve their business challenges

·        Ensure consistent improvement from pitch to pitch, pushing new boundaries in our solution

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

·        4+ years of relevant experience working in either a digital media or digital content/SEO focused position

·        4+ years of experience with significant sales, writing, research, and/or online media components, with a working knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Omniture & Google Analytics

·        Analytical with a strong strategic point of view; ability to “think like a client” to uncover what they need and how we can supply a winning proposition

·        Fearless, active leader in group settings who can effectively consult, manage and occasionally challenge all levels of management and personnel

·        Winning public speaking and writing skills – a natural, persuasive, goal-oriented storyteller

·        Self-starter who can take a task, own it, run with it, and find better ways of doing it

·        Believes no ask is too big and no detail too small

·        Ability to perform in a fast paced and changing environment, under pressure to deadline

·        High competency level in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Excel and Word

·        Able to include periods of travel as part of routine
