Job Description

As the Performance Content Executive you will be driving force behind content creation, taking responsibility for creating copy, editorial content and outreach to agreed deadlines. The quality of your writing will be exceptional and you will be expected to merge creativity and a solid approach to research and data analysis to create unique and engaging pieces of content.

You will have an active interest in subject areas like content marketing, PR, influencer marketing and social media and be able to share recent industry updates without prompting.

You will have an analytical mind and use your problem-solving capabilities to ensure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives. These objectives are sure to run the Performics gamut – from planning and optimization, to reporting on client programs, to writing SEO copy to making technical recommendations. No two days are the same in this role, and this is a good thing! We promise you won’t get bored.

Key Outputs:

• To create consistently high standards of client-ready content for use in online marketing and customer engagement campaigns

• Product content and SEO copy creation, including keyword research, meta content creation and on-page content creation and optimisation

• Long-form engaging editorial content creation based on research and original idea generation

• Prospecting of key publications to work with on large-scale content marketing campaigns

• Outreach and relationship building with key journalists, editors and influencers relevant to our client’s customer base

• Pitching new ideas and contributing to quarterly and monthly Content Marketing strategies

 

Key Requirements:

• At least 1 year’s experience in content marketing, digital content creation, digital PR or social media - preferably agency side

• Familiarity with engaging with journalists, publishers and influencers to distribute content

• Experience in creating content marketing campaigns for brands that engage the audience while staying true to the brand identity

• Must be comfortable communicating with clients

• Confident in brainstorming new content ideas and communicating those ideas with a wider team

• High standard of efficient content campaign management while meeting all client/agency targets

• Keeping up to date with all content industry developments and client relevant brand campaigns
