Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Account Manager to join one of our flagship accounts working as part of a fully integrated team of online and offline media experts, data scientists, strategists and creative folk. The right person for the role will have strong online media experience with a focus on being responsible for display, mobile, social, programmatic and video campaigns. 

You are passionate about digital advertising and the role it can play within the wider media mix. As a digital expert you are well versed in all aspects of digital campaigns including tracking and campaign measurement. Experience of managing 2-3 juniors including managing their workload, training and mentoring them would also be beneficial. 

We offer the opportunity to work closely with the senior management team to lead innovative Display planning and best practise within Blue 449.

Role Objectives

  • Assist in the management of the Graduates, Planner Buyers and Senior Planners Buyers, demonstrating good delegation skills and positive behaviours
  • All work delivered to a high standard, consistently demonstrating proactivity and initiative
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, internal teams and external partners
  • Strong knowledge of the digital landscape, proactively staying up to date with any industry changes, and attending/completing all tasked training courses
  • Be proactive with informing more senior members of the team about any issues that need assistance 
  • Stretch yourself to above and beyond core objectives by adding value to the wider department
  • Act as an ambassador of Blue 449 both internally and externally at all times, promoting the agency, it's clients and its work

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude required

  • Can implement solid, well thought out media plans with a focus on client’s business objectives.
  • Able to use your understanding of clients business to drive conversations with clients and media owners that can influence and persuade 
  • Foster the best possible working relationships with suppliers and creative agencies, as well as internal agency departments
  • Manage upwards and downwards appropriately ensuring you have all the information you require to complete tasks and proactively manage deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
