Job Description

The Supervisor of Programmatic Media  is responsible for campaign management activities such as set-up, documentation creation and maintenance, QA, performance reporting, and billing reconciliation for a high-profile classic CPG client that holds several iconic breakfast and snack food brands. The Supervisor of Programmatic  is mainly responsible for the planning and buying of programmatic media, campaign management for assigned brands, identifying and implementing optimizations as well managing and training team members. Furthermore, this is a heavily client-facing role that requires a proven track record of comfort with day to day client interaction and  hands-on creation of client presentation materials. 

The ideal candidate is an organized, data-driven, collaborative self-starter who is eager to learn and thrives in a fast-pace, ever-changing landscape.  Must haves include at least three years of hands-on experience in in the programmatic space.

Most importantly, the candidate must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital media landscape and enjoys working with some of the finest minds in the industry. Roles and Responsibilities will Include: 

-  Assist the team with Social H2K transition.
-  Direct the execution of brand programmatic deliverables to meet/exceed expectations.
- Solid knowledge of programmatic landscape – system setups on both DSP & DMP.
- Solid programmatic marketplace thought leadership with ability to tie new offerings and innovations to brand/client business objectives
while supporting centralized learning agendas
- Development and coordination of immersion days and partner participation.
Someone who wants to expand their knowledge base outside of programmatic to encompass holistic data strategy
- Reviews MMM results, provide additional context to results relative to Programmatic activity, application of learnings against future
investments.
- Leads media negotiations with DSP & DMP partners; consulting with clients and internal stakeholders.
Identification of process/reporting improvements through automation.
- Knowledge of media channels with expertise in driving digital innovation and measurable results.
- Strong leadership skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and strong problem solving skills – navigates effectively through conflict and risk
to build required consensus to drive innovative business needs and results.
- High results orientation and able to effectively juggle and prioritize many competing demands – high tolerance to effectively manage
change.
- Demonstrate ability to establish high levels of trust and credibility, ability build strong inter-relationships with external partners (clients,
agencies, vendor partners) and create opportunities for synergistic collaboration across all
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills – effectively presents formal POV internally and externally

Qualifications

 

  • Four-year college degree; Business, Marketing, Media or Advertising preferred
  • At least three years of relevant experience within the programmatic space
  • Hands on experience and expert adeptness with DSPs and DMPs 
  • Previous experience managing client relationships 
  • Ability to manage and train a team on functionalities of all platforms
  • Understanding of traditional and interactive media planning elements
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to organize and manage detail work
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities and ability to work without supervision
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Prior experience working in all major Social Media platforms (FB, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat)
