Job Description

The Starcom Advanced Analytics & Insights (AAI) – Decision Sciences team draws on the dynamic advertising technology space, digital and offline analytics, and evolving methodologies to address complex research and measurement challenges across Starcom client brands.  The Senior Analyst uses research, data, and analytic techniques to answer client business questions, assists with developing test-and-learn' approaches that roll-up to the client's larger learning objectives, and implements best practices around research, analytics and campaign measurement. 

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting data flow among various systems
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly compliance reports
  • Assist creating the single, trusted source for key data dictionaries that can be shared across Publicis Media
  • Assist translating high level privacy requirements into detailed system requirements
  • Assist establishing quality standards and indexes: ensure adherence to data governance, privacy policies, data security standards through analysis and audits
  • Provide subject matter expertise for data flow between systems and data dictionaries
  • Develop high quality deliverables and establish data performance expectations
  • Understand and interpret technical limitations and document issues for leadership alignment
  • Help translating technical concepts to business and list implications/capabilities to drive alignment and decision making
  • Work closely with the leadership to set strategy and define success criteria for enterprise-wide initiatives

Qualifications

 

  • At least 1 year of experience in a data analytics or data governance role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or four-year related degree
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of data concepts such as master data management, data governance, and profiling and cataloging.
  • Ability to write SQL code to do some data analysis / pivot tables in excel. Proficiency in writing SQL scripts is required.
  • Familiarity with data management; experience working with data dev, engineering and data science teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ad tech industry and analytics background preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly and effectively adapt to technologies outside of current experience
