Job Description

The Client

Edrington

Is one of the most successful spirits producers in the world, yet retain an independent Scottish identity and a longer-term business approach (relative to their category) which makes them a pleasure to deal with. The business is headquartered in Glasgow and the company’s business model has always had social responsibility at its core. When the Robertson sisters transferred their shareholding & ownership in Edrington to the newly formed Robertson Trust in 1961, this ensured Edrington’s independence.
The company donates a portion of profits to good causes chosen by staff in its overseas offices.
The values of the organisation are complemented by highly rated premium brands. Edrington is a brand-building company with a strong track record of investing in both consumer marketing and the operational assets to bring those brands closer to consumers. The Macallan, Brugal, The Famous Grouse and Naked Grouse have all benefited from long-term investment to drive growth ahead of their categories.

Birkenstock

Is not only one of the best-known shoe manufactures in Germany, but also one of the most popular German companies worldwide, with brand recognition of more than 80%. The family-owned company now in its sixth generation, traces back to 1774. The global player has its products sold in approximately 90 countries around the world. The collection includes sandals, shoes, legwear, belts and more for everyone!

The success of Birkenstock is rooted in its commitment to the art of making orthopedically inspired shoes. Over the centuries, it has built up a wealth of experience that it has cultivated and passed down from one generation to the next. In an overwhelmingly price-driven consumer world characterized by throwaway products from low-wage economies,

Birkenstock, with its premium-quality products, offers an alternative for all those who place value on functionality and quality.
