Job Description

The Account

You will be working on a fast paced retail client who are multi channel, with large budgets!

In this role, you will have access to a variety of product verticals and campaign objectives, you will also own some of your own briefs whilst being very involved in the larger campaigns.

You will also have ample opportunity to stay on top of the latest media owner offerings on this account.

Role Objectives

  • Work efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met for both internal and client work
  • Ensure all work is delivered to a high standard, consistently demonstrating proactivity and initiative
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, investment teams and partner agencies
  • Be the day to day lead for your clients, whilst still working across all other elements of the businesses as directed by the your line manager
  • Demonstrate sound working knowledge of all media channels, proactively staying up to date with any industry changes, and attending/completing all tasked training courses
  • Assist in the management of a Graduate Planner, demonstrating key delegation skills and behaviours
  • Constantly push boundaries and drive innovation for your clients' campaigns

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Required

  • Possesses a clear understanding of the media marketplace, and a great working knowledge of all media channels, including a strong grasp of digital
  • Be competent and confident in the planning and curation of cost efficient media plans which align with the overall brand strategy of your clients
  • Be commercial minded, numerate and a great communicator
  • Able to assess the contribution of one medium from another and advise clients accordingly 
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are met 
  • Consistently demonstrate proactivity, drive for success and initiative 
  • High degree of financial aptitude to ensure accurate client budgeting, accounting and reporting 
  • Be an ideas person, excited to brainstorm new approaches and solutions for clients
  • Strong team player, with the ability to build positive working relationships both internally and externally
  • Be able to assist and contribute towards any new business initiatives, as directed by senior members of the team
  • Experience working with Nielsen reporting tools
