Job Description

Role:

The Account Director will report into the Business Director, and work closely with the Digital Team, Performics, the Comms Strategy Director and specialists in research, econometrics, Newcast, and Zenith local markets.

The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate excellent client handling skills, knowledge & proven ability across all media including and especially digital media. Most importantly have a self-starting attitude combined with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Responsibilities:

Products / Client – Manage day to day relationship with the client (RB GMT team, RB Digital BAU, RB SEO team) and pro-actively create relationship through excellence in client service.

Work closely with clients to improve business operations and output.

Establish trust at a senior level with client teams.

New Business – To manage and support any new business initiatives on the account as we manage multiple pitches annually.

Process - Work with Comms and Digital Strategy team and other Zenith specialists to deliver innovative 360 strategies across the account. Lead and work very closely with local markets to monitor local market implementation and share best practice.

People/Talent - Foster an open, inclusive client team culture where information sharing and pro-activity are encouraged. Lead and inspire junior team members.

Financial – Commercial accountability for profitability of accounts to Zenith WW

Assist BD/GCL/Commercial Director in development of Scope of Work and commercial agreement Understanding of local office P&Ls and commercial framework 

Demonstrate to clients how proposed communications solutions will show expected return on investment 

Support Value Management team in reviewing local market performance.

Provide leadership and direction for all members of their team 

Good working relationship with business / account leads across the Zenith network

Proactively support and manage local markets and address issues in positive and collaborative manner 

Lead, coach and inspire junior team members 

Commercial accountability for profitability of accounts to Zenith WW * Report back regularly to BD on all potential issues and suggest solutions.

Product Expertise 

Produce clear, insightful and creative presentations, documents and strategies with help of team as per clients requirements 

Deep understanding of Zenith services and tools with the view to identify relevant strategic opportunities for the client and additional revenue for Zenith WW and locally. * In-depth knowledge & proven ability across all digital media ie: social, programmatic (precision), SEO and search.

Lead development and optimise local market planning and implantation of new process model

Become the main point of contact for the local markets 

Key architect and owner of the process and new ways of working between central team and local team 

Participate in new business efforts

Help prioritise work for team areas of focus and annual objectives

Qualifications

Key requirements:

The essential skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Performance marketing experience is essential

  • Understanding of e-Com eco-system

  • Ad-tech background preferred

  • FMCG marketing experience preferred

  • Proven business team leadership and media operations.

  • Excellent commercial acumen

  • Strong communications skills and collaborative

  • Comfortable working with a process but not a slave to it
