We are PG One - put simply a crack team of some of the finest minds from Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis Worldwide, Publicis Media, and MSL.

Housed at 40 Chancery Lane, PG One is the thriving new hub of all of Publicis Groupe’s Procter & Gamble business in the UK. Bringing together sister advertising agencies, media teams, PR and Digital/Search teams.

Publicis Groupe has taken a bold step back to the future to create a single interdependent End-2-End client focused business team at Chancery Lane for Procter & Gamble. We are calling the single client platform PG One housed on P&G Chancery Lane Campus. The high performing operation brings the entire P&G resource within the Groupe into one place – this includes creative (Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis WW), data (Digitas LBi) media, search, SEO and Social. It is an exciting, new, future facing model that we call ‘interdependence’, comprising first class talent for a first class client.

 

P&G  has experienced a huge amount of change over the past two years as they look to re-invent the way they operate with their agencies. With the recent media pitch win secured, it proves a very exciting and opportunistic time to be joining the Publicis team.

Role

Working within the UK media function for Publicis Groupe’s single largest client, with a spend in the UK and Ireland of over $200Million USD, P&G UK&I.

This role is to work on P&G and there would mean that you would be working on a blue chip market leading brand whatever category you  are placed on within the portfolio of categories amongst them Fabric, Hair, Oral Care and Baby Care.

 

As the Business manager you will be the main point of contact for the clients and will be running the team on a day to day basis ensuring everything runs smoothly and the team are happy. The clients rely on you for guidance and leadership on their annual and campaign planning.

 

Key Responsibilities

Connections

  • Bridge between maintaining excellence on the day to day, and supporting on the more strategic initiatives
  • Fosters learning between categories within their portfolio, involving planners, social, investment
  • Collaborates with loop teams

 

Delivery

  • Leads projects from brief to completion on time and on budget
  • Works closely with investment team to ensure negotiation strategies are rooted in the brand challenges
  • Managing the partnership process – briefing, assessment/ evaluation (quality not cost), creative input, delivery
  • Main day to day contact on your allocated brands for the P&G Brand and Media teams.
  • Main point of contact for cross-agency (Loop) team and wider PG One teams.
  • Hold a point of view on client business and be able to formulate hypothesis on potential growth areas.
  • Contribute to development of brand strategy with Strategy Director and show keenness to work above and beyond the day to day.

 

Team

  • Mentor and support SEs and Execs (one of each – shared with another manager on the team), create a stage for them to shine
