Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Performance Manager will work with the Head of Performance with the responsibility for cross channel optimisation of ASDA’s significant acquisition activity. This covers ASDA grocery home shopping, George and Money & Mobile products. A sizeable team operate the seven figure annual spend, across PPC, SEO, Programmatic and Affiliates. 
The candidate must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital media landscape, enjoy working with some of the finest minds in the industry, and truly be a part of something unique that will have a lasting impact on the Publicis Media network of agencies. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  •    Assist with the real-time optimisation decisions of campaigns, on a macro and channel basis channels and work closely with each channel team to extract the best possible performance from each of them.
•    This information will then be communicated and agreed with the ASDA clients.
•    Troubleshoot technical and practical issues within the channels and devise solutions to ensure performance does not drop
•    Work with agency and technology partners to ensure campaign delivery and reporting continuously improves 
•    Produce concise and actionable reports to equip the team and clients with relevant actionable insight
•    Provide support in forecasting and contribute to the longer term development of the account.
•    Manage upwards and downwards appropriately ensuring you have all the information you require to complete tasks and proactively manage deadlines
•    Manage the day to day work of junior members of the team, including effective delegation, regular 1:1 catch ups, ensuring high quality of work and providing training and support as required
•    Act as an ambassador of Blue 449 both internally and externally at all times, promoting the agency, it's clients and its work

Qualifications

•    Degree level education
•    Good working knowledge of PPC, SEO, Programmatic and Affiliate channels
•    Experience in managing large quantities of data and extracting insight from it
•    Strong analytical thinking, mathematical skills, and attention to detail
•    Excellent communication and writing skills
•    Some experience managing the output and progression of juniors is preferred
•    A desire and motivation to excel in a fast paced retail and DR environment
