Job Description

Overview:

Associate Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations process. The right candidate would bring a positive attitude and a project based mindset.  Be ready to dive into the daily grind of both the T-Mobile and Metro client, while guiding an operations team to success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Leads team to confirm resource structure for the projects, helping to ensure projects are staffed accordingly.
  • Oversee the flow of work within projects and pivot process where needed to drive stronger results.
  • Identify potential risks and issues within a projects.  Successfully identify and quickly adjust to make sure the correct people are in place to resolve the issue.
  • Effectively push back on clients and business leads when requirements of a project deadline put other projects in jeopardy of hitting deadlines.
  • Communicate regularly with all teams to provide project/process updates.
  • Provide regular input into the ongoing development of the operations team and be willing to manipulate process to deliver best results.
  • Maintain a close working relationships with all TMO agencies to stay abreast of upcoming projects, help identify what will be needed to support paid media.
  • Demonstrate an ability to coach your team members to help them become successful and feel supported.
  • Strong understanding of all media channels, specifically broadcast, Radio and OOH.
  • Help to educate clients of processes and how they benefit the client and work.
  • Identify gaps in process and be willing to advocate for change to leadership.
  • Be prepared to scope work from simple to multi-channel/quarter projects and understand the complexity of those resource needs.
  • Communicate progress with existing projects to coach internal teams on appropriate timing and resources needed to provide excellent results.
  • Strong team leadership skills to make sure your team feels they know their roles and potential career growth.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • You have 5+ years’ experience within PM and operations/ preferably within advertising/media.
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and team building management skills.

·         Be able to manage 3 team members as well as the potential to grow the team.

  • Knowledge of broadcast, radio and OOH production.
  • Written communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to make quickly make decisions and resolve problems calmly and effectively.
  • Time management and the ability to determine priorities and delegate.
