The Global Content Practice at Publicis Media is a global specialist content operation with over 1,500 employees. Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with stakeholders, product, design and program management teams to develop the positioning, messaging and overall communication strategies for Content Practice’s products and services. The ideal candidate is someone who can clearly articulate the value and benefits of complex issues in easily understood, compelling language, as well as the ability to conceive of and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. This is a fast-paced role so the ideal candidate should be able to balance crafting a crisp message while moving quickly to achieve results.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop expertise on our audiences, product offerings, and the competitive landscape
  • Manage the product launch communications process from beta into general availability, including collateral development, new business training, and market education
  • Support the execution of major 360-degree product marketing campaigns
  • Translate complex product concepts into clear, concise, jargon-free value props
  • Prioritize product marketing requests across multiple workstreams
  • Gather competitive and market insights that can shed light on customer needs and inform new product enhancements
  • Work in a collaborative environment and influence others to ensure successful product marketing deployment, understanding key business and technology drivers
  • Communicate a common understanding of the product by setting and managing expectations with collateral 
  • Works closely with the Product Owner, Program Management and Sponsor to identify and assure consistent messaging 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in marketing, preferably in technology, product development or consulting
  • A great teammate; someone who can collaborate, ingest good ideas from wherever they originate and quickly build trust and mutual respect. 
  • Skilled listener and communicator, both verbally and written, who can engage agency colleagues with confidence
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed environment, managing multiple stakeholders, with demonstrated experience managing go-to market strategies and collateral
  • Strong negotiation and issue resolution skills
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time

Preferred: 

  • Experience working in Media, Advertising, and/or Ad Tech
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or MBA
