Write application and database codes based on business requirements or user stories, architectural requirements, and established coding.
Design, development, and enhancement of data models.
Responsible for system performance of the data tier and the reliabitlity of data feeds across the enterprise system.
Work with as part of the Data Platform team and QA on performance tuning and optimization, query optimization, index tuning, caching, buffer tuning and data archiving strategies.
Estimate and plan development work, track and report on task progress, and deliver work on schedule
Write ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge for various application requirements
Contribute to operational support documentation
Expertise in SQL, especially within cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Amazon Redshift
Proven experience as a BI / Big Data Developer
1+ years of Python coding experience
Background in data modeling and/or data mining
NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB, Document DB, Mongo DB, etc.)
1 Yrs+ experience working with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services (2014 and 2016)
Excellent communication and intra-personal skills
Self-motivated and a self-starter with strong ability to multitask projects/tasks effectively
Ability to problem solve high pressure issues
