Job Description

The Client

Samsung, one of Starcom’s biggest and most iconic accounts, are devoted to driving innovation across all social media platforms. As a manager within the Samsung team, you will be able to oversee and lead all aspects of Paid Social including their substantial budgets and different objectives ranging from national awareness campaigns to direct sales and maximizing ROI. This will provide you with a truly holistic and extensive knowledge in the industry for a top player in the technology and home electronics space.

Performics has enjoyed a strong and long-standing relationship with Samsung as a flagship account, resulting in a truly collaborative approach to paid media. This opens up opportunities for us to run alphas/betas regularly and get early access to the best tools in the market.

The Role

This role focuses on delivering market-leading Activation, Client Servicing, Innovation and Measurement for one of Starcom’s flagship accounts. The role entails managing a team of execs and overseeing planning and implementation across Paid Social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest), across the range of Samsung products.

The successful candidate will be organized and have strong project management skills. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for social advertising and someone looking to step up and manage large budgets and can confidently articulate this in conversations with media owners like Facebook.

You’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the team, ensuring all members are trained, knowledgeable and executing every aspect of their duties. You will also play a pivotal role in building relationships with internal stakeholders as well as client teams.

You will be working in a team of 7, reporting into the Biddable Associate Director. You will manage 2 senior execs and supervise their management of 3 execs.

Qualifications

Key Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in planning, activating and reporting on Paid Social campaigns across the major Social Media channels
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Aptitude in maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Exemplary track record in managing budgets and booking finance
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of work with strong attention to detail within an agreed deadline
  • Experience in managing members of a team and delegating tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of conversion pixel implementation, testing and reporting

Beneficial

  • Experience with paid social media tools, e.g. 4C, SocialMoov/Marin, Sprinklr etc.
  • Line management experience and delivery of appraisals
  • Experience in driving innovation in Paid Social
  • Knowledge of all digital elements and a good understanding of how other digital channels fit with Social
  • Combined Brand and Performance (DR) social experience
  • Knowledge of measurement solutions across social platforms
