Job Description

Produce winning work 

  • Supports the development of pitch presentations: Critiquing and editing the media plan content, brainstorming big ideas, development of the pitch “story” 
  • Owns all written submissions, including the interpretation of the brief, organizing a team to answer questions, chasing responses, and editing all responses 
  • Works closely with the Operations team to communicate all pitch needs (presentation styling, place cards, name tents, etc.) 

Lead teams

  • Supports a first-class pitch management process from kick-off to post-pitch contact strategy on mid-size global or  multi-market pitches ($5-10m+ revenue) 
  • Close collaboration with network teams to ensure a consistent new business strategy is deployed on multi-market pitches and major local pitches 

People Management 

  • Manages and motivates the pitch team: Keeps track of key players and deliverables & ensures that everyone is on-task 
  • Establishes solid, mutually beneficial relationships with internal leaders (CEOs, MDs etc.) from priority markets 

Maintain excellence

  • Oversees the development & maintenance of the content warehouse with the Operations team to access best  practise materials and provide in-market support on key local pitches (when required)
  • Constantly reviews new business team’s ways of working to identify innovation opportunities to increase speed and efficiency throughout the network

Qualifications

  • 2-4+years’ senior experience in media planning/strategy, integrated marketing or similar 
  • Able to include periods of travel as part of regular routine
  • Has a strong understanding of the marketing/communications/media sphere 
  • Values finding better ways of doing things 
  • Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks 
  • Believes no ask is too big and no detail too small 
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced and changing environment, under pressure to deadline 
  • Possesses well-honed project management skills –to ensure accurate delivery of projects on schedule 
  • Incredible attention to detail and double checking data –accuracy is critical 
  • Understands the value of anticipation and proactivity and actively seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and produce
