Job Description

Overview:

Performics is looking for a Senior Social Analyst to join the Spark Foundry, Performance Media team. The Senior Social Analyst will be the day-to-day steward of paid social media for assigned brands, and responsible for monitoring and maintaining paid social campaign development, activation, and innovation.  The Senior Social Analyst is required to develop and maintain a strong knowledge of their clients’ business and apply their paid social understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients’ needs/objectives. The Senior Social Analyst will work closely with their manager in the development and communication of all paid social recommendations. 


Role Objectives:

  • Gather necessary data and work with partners to develop strong paid social strategies
  • Present recommendations, solicit and apply client feedback
  • Traffic approved plans into social engines
  • QA all campaign components prior to launch
  • Pull and analyze data to inform campaign reports with cohesive quantitative analyses, and develop strategic insights with clear actionable items
  • Actively participate in client status and reporting calls, including presentation of reporting
  • Learn all relevant tools for reporting, analytics and activation
  • Master all core paid social metric calculations and relationships
  • Monitor and maintain campaign budgets, pacing, performance, and bid adjustments
  • Develop and implement optimizations and testing plans, and proactively advocate for campaign adjustments based on performance trends
  • Upon campaign approval, load authorized buys in Prisma, generate necessary paperwork, and ensure vendor counter signatures are received
  • Maintain monthly billing cycle, including invoice tracking, buy actualization in Prisma, and compilation of draft billing for manager approval
  • Resolve all billing discrepancies in partnership with client strategy and billing reconciliation team
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Social Analysts and be a resource for training and ad hoc questions
  • Establish professional and productive rapport with sales representatives and media vendors
  • Work closely with manager to establish priorities and manage workload
  • Deliver all work in timely fashion
  • Successfully complete training programs and requisite certifications
  • Develop strong working relationship with client teams and partner agencies (where applicable) by helping to create a seamless communications process

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years working with Facebook & Twitter ads platforms with hands-on experience managing and optimizing buys through PMD self-serve tools – Sprinklr and/or 4C proficient preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of working in digital media and marketing
  • Experience in applying social marketing to brand-building & direct response initiatives
  • Understanding of best practices for leveraging social media for brand communication
  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for managing and optimizing API/self-serve buys on Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat
  • Understanding of the Facebook PMD landscape and deep experience with at least one Ads PMD-certified technology
