You will be a Global Account Executive role in the global team, sitting across our global clients, at Spark Foundry.

This vacancy is an amazing opportunity to join the Global Spark team, which is responsible for coordinating planning and buying for all media in all the different countries our client sits in. The team is comprised of individuals with diverse skills and expertise across the media and technology landscape. The Global team works in close collaboration with Communications Planners and other teams to ensure global alignment of our campaigns. Members of the team are aligned to key client brands and expected to build strong direct relationships through impeccable servicing, high-quality product, and proactive ideas.

The global team works on a collection of clients within the Publicis Media group including King, Avon, Brown Forman, NBA, McCormick, Calm and Marriott, so you will be part of a team of 8, of different nationalities from Colombia to France to, of course, the UK! There will be plenty of scopes for you to impact all of these businesses. These will also ensure you continue to have good exposure to other categories - as well as global digital solutions.

Responsibilities

The Global Account Executive position is a key role within the team and will be supporting other team members in ensuring optimum communication planning and reporting across all markets. The executive should be a team player that brings energy and enthusiasm to the role whilst remaining flexible to different situations and be able to multi-task with ease. General attributes:

  • Provide regular deliverables to the client on time and with quality; ensure all submissions to the client are of the highest standard.
  • Coordinating deliverables across the global network of over 35 countries, and ensuring local markets are following central guidelines where necessary.
  • Building and developing a relationship with the creative and trafficking agencies, and working in tandem with them on delivering ad hoc projects.
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Develop knowledge of different market insights and different media channels.
  • Take part in client meetings, to discuss weekly updates and ensure efficient coordination with all markets.
  • Working closely with the all markets team to ensure global coordination is effective and in-line with client requirements.
  • Be involved with briefing out new campaigns to local markets, making sure that the briefs are clear and ensuring global alignment of media strategy and specific client requests.
  • Provide regular market updates to the wider team and clients were relevant (eg. new/interesting opportunities for client, competitor updates, etc.).
  • Support local markets by being one of the points of contact and provide them with feedback on their questions.

Key requirements

  • Highly organized and detail-orientated - confident at multi-tasking across accounts and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with clients and local markets, and work well as part of a team – respectful, passionate, professional and friendly.
  • Good communication skills, both F2F in client meetings and presentations, but also ability to be concise and clear to local markets via email and call whose first language may not be English.
  • Proactive and ambitious, eager to learn and grow within the team.
  • Effective communicator that is confident talking to markets on a day-to-day basis.
  • Able to work on own initiative and identify anything that needs improving.
  • Proficient in excel and comfortable working with numbers and interpreting data.
  • Motivated to learn about the client’s business and relevant marketplace; excited, enthusiastic, takes pride in their work.
  • Passionate about media and driven to learn about relevant industry trends.
  • High level of competency using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, be confident analysing large data sets and working with numbers.
