This is a Global Account Manager role in the global team, sitting across our global clients, at Spark Foundry.

This vacancy is an amazing opportunity to join the Global Spark team, which is responsible for coordinating planning and buying for all media in all the different countries our client sits in. The team is comprised of individuals with diverse skills and expertise across the media and technology landscape. The Global team works in close collaboration with Communications Planners and other teams to ensure global alignment of our campaigns. Members of the team are aligned to key client brands, and expected to build strong direct relationships through impeccable servicing, high quality product, and proactive ideas.

The global team works on a collection of clients within the Publicis Media group including King, Avon, Brown Forman, NBA, McCormick, Calm and Marriott, so you will be part of a team of 8, of different nationalities from Colombia to France to, of course, the UK! There will be plenty of scope for you to impact all of these businesses. These will also ensure you continue to have good exposure to other categories - as well as global digital solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Global Account Manager, your role will include the following:

  • Leading all day-to-day communication with the client, managing timelines and deliverables to ensure effective project management of the team and network.
  • Coordinating deliverables across the global network of countries, and ensuring local markets are following central strategies where necessary.
  • Building and developing a relationship with the creative agencies, and working in tandem with them on briefings and ad hoc projects.
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Direct line management of Account Executives; their workloads, priorities, personal development, reviews and overall delivery.
  • Sharing & demonstrating knowledge all digital and traditional media channels
  • Confidently demonstrating media knowledge to the client and ability to talk around all aspects of media.
  • Driving innovation and testing of planning optimisation and targeting
  • Identifying new test-and-learns and new opportunities in different media channels.
  • Supporting the Client Director and Strategy Director on the creation of large client presentations, and leading and owning smaller requests for the client.
  • Working closely with the all markets team to ensure global coordination is effective and in-line with client requirements.
  • Playing an active role in the content development for the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and activity participating and presenting in face to face client meetings.
  • Brief out and provide Ad-Hoc tasks from Central client, assuring all documents are provided to the highest standard, with global alignment.
  • Support local markets by being the point of contact and provide them with feedback on their questions, acting as the intermediary between the central client and local teams.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail-orientated - confident at multi-tasking across accounts and projects.
  • Previous account management experience necessary, international experience an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with clients and local markets, and work well as part of a team – respectful, passionate, professional and friendly.
  • Good communication skills, both F2F in client meetings and presentations, but also ability to be concise and clear to local markets via email and call whose first language may not be English.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a good TV background and Digital understanding.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, and experience managing people.
  • Passionate about the clients’ business; excited, enthusiastic and takes pride in their work.
  • High level of competency using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, be confident analysing large data sets and working with numbers.
  • Able to work successfully within a team, handling high volume workload, and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical abilities & proficiency in math.
  • Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources.
