Job Description


The Associate Content Manager (ACM) is responsible for supporting client accounts towards stated client and company objectives within SEO, content marketing, and the digital space. Reporting to a Senior Content Manager, the ACM provides assistance to internal client service teams, and at the direction of Content Manager/Director, initiates and coordinates projects working with other internal departments.


Role Objectives:

Client Service & Program Support

·       Directly leads less complex client engagements and projects

·       Follows all processes as defined by departmental management

·       Creates and follows a self-directed learning plan to master SEO fundamentals

·       Project manages components of an enterprise client account

·       Gains exposure to and assists with client service process, including resourcing, project management, and client communications

·       Supports Content Strategist/Senior Content Strategist/Content Director

·       Participates in weekly / monthly client calls

·       Submits and manages resource plan requests and project QA

·       Assists with data/performance monitoring

·       Implements best practices in account and program management

·       Possess a basic understanding of clients, competitors, and partner agencies functions

·       Accomplish multiple tasks in a timely manner and with accuracy

·       Can effectively contribute to multiple accounts and projects simultaneously

·       Maintains autonomy during execution of pre-defined tasks

·       Seeks out opportunities to learn new skills, advance in role, and demonstrate autonomy

·       Understands essential components of managing a successful SEO project

·       Develop skills as an expert in specific areas of content marketing and SEO

·       Prove understanding of larger landscape of a large client and how small tasks affect the big picture

·       Reverse mentoring with another colleague of a different channel expertise

Analytics & Reporting

·       Supports assigned accounts in pulling data and creating reports and presentations

·       Tracks work assignments daily

·       Manages and updates client task reports

·       Tracks and manages Operations resource plan for client accounts

·       Performs Ad Hoc analysis and reporting


Minimum Qualifications:


·       Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred

·       1-2 years of work experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or SEO preferred

·       For other digital disciplines FB / Twitter / DSP / Affiliate platforms experience nice-to-have

·       Strong analytical and implementation skills

·       High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and PowerPoint

·       Internet experience preferred

·       Able to work as directed and balance multiple tasks
