Job Description

Overview:

This position requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial person to lead day-to-day strategic management across the Oracle global account, overseeing digital biddable platforms such as programmatic (DSPs), paid search, and paid social. This individual will coordinate with client leads and Zenith leadership to define and execute industry-leading efforts taking into account an audience-first approach driving strong results.

Zenith has a 13-year partnership with Oracle, and leads the global business out of Chicago with a team of over 35 people. We coordinate with regional Zenith offices in Singapore and London and partner agencies in São Paulo. We also provide Oracle with a “Power of One” Publicis Solution, working closely with our sister creative agency Leo Burnett, on all Oracle production and creative.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day relationship with Oracle’s global lead of programmatic and paid search to understand the on-going business needs of the client including the communication of any changes to Zenith leadership
  • Support Zenith team and Oracle teams on social media campaigns including consulting on best practices, campaign configurations, vendor options, and creative learning
  • Coordinate with Zenith partners agencies across disciplines to ensure governance of established protocols including stepping in to troubleshoot issues if necessary
  • Work with Zenith’s Data and Platform Solutions team to advance our audience-first approach using first-party and third-party data
  • Develop regional and global best practices, training, and points of view to be shared internally and externally
  • Help foster story-telling results through data
  • Manage direct team to support biddable disciplines across multiple lines of business
  • Assist Zenith pillar teams (nee Lines of Business) to create, implement, and report upon programmatic/biddable campaigns
  • Provide global coordination for EMEA (London) and APAC (Singapore) Zenith teams
  • Command a comprehensive understanding of the programmatic/biddable landscape which can be effectively translated into developing media goals, objectives, and strategies
  • Support SVP/VP in managing account profitability; identify, assess, and implement strategic organizational capabilities and partner initiatives in a profitable manner
  • Understand Agency business objectives above and beyond client role by actively participating in cross agency projects
    • i.e. Taskforces that strengthen media discipline

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years Digital Strategy & Activation experience, preferably from a media agency environment or programmatic technology company
  • Strong, hands-on background with technology platforms as such DSPs (The Trade Desk, Sizmek, DBM), DMPs (BlueKai), Search (DoubleClick for Search, Marin), and Social (4C, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Experience with 3rd party ad servers like DoubleClick and Innovid
  • Track record of building successful relationships – internally and externally
  • Strong presentation skills a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act proactively
  • Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and result
  • Significant experience in a service, delivery and/or customer focused organization is required
  • Must have demonstrated ability to gets things done through 'un-owned’ resources
  • Must have outstanding motivational and interpersonal skills
