Job Description

The Senior Digital Analyst role sits within the Global Client Strategy team to support the deployment and adoption of Publicis Media’s centralized data management and reporting platform across digital and offline media channels for our Global clients. It is a client facing role with a key objective being the main point of contact between the client, internal senior stakeholders and development teams to ensure that all requirements are captured and developed into the solution. The role will be an integral part of the process from supporting new business pitches to project development and go-live and ongoing management and support of the solution.

This is a hybrid role and requires the candidate to have an understanding of data management, media and ad operations and also be comfortable presenting to both technical experts and senior clients up to CMO level.

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work with a growing range of global clients across Publicis Media which currently includes Samsung, Marriott, P&G, L’Oreal, Reckitt Benckiser, UBS, GSK and UEFA.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across Publicis Media to increase adoption and drive data management and reporting best practices
  • Be the main point of contact between the client, the internal senior stakeholders and our in house developers to increase transparency and communication across all parties
  • Build an understanding of the client’s media landscape including all digital and offline channels
  • Ensure that all client, planning and activation team’s requirements are captured accurately and kept up to date as they change
  • Own the deployment of the data management and reporting solutions and ensure they are in line with agreed project timelines

 

SPECIFIC TASKS:

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks within the data & reporting process for global clients
  • Hold workshops with the client and planning/activation teams to identify key opportunities where the reporting platform can be utilised to increase automation and effectiveness in reporting
  • Gather information around the client’s key marketing media channels and how this differs globally across all markets
  • Develop the project scope and plan with the assistance of a Project Manager keeping it up to date throughout the project lifecycle
  • Hold regular standups with the development team and PM to ensure progress remains on track with the project roadmap and regular updates are provided to the client and client teams
  • Review the final product and gather feedback from the end users to be incorporated in later releases
  • Deliver demos along with the automated reporting story in new business pitches
  • Support the wider team in delivering reporting solutions for all PM global clients and provide guidance to junior team members where necessary

Qualifications

 

  • A degree in computer engineering along with media agency experience is required
  • The candidate must have demonstrated experience in data management and some experience in new business development.
  • Strong experience in creating automated dashboards and advanced MS Excel skills is required
  • Candidate must have good knowledge of web development languages including Java, C++, HMTL and CSS
  • Must have some technical experience using tools including MySQL, MATLAB and LabView
  • Be flexible and open to working internationally and travelling for client meetings
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English & Spanish – written and spoken – able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner and be comfortable presenting to senior audiences and in external client meeting
  • Experience of leading teams
  • Candidate must have a strong attention to detail, and be able to quality check their own work to ensure that data anomalies/mistakes are caught prior to delivery of the analysis to the client teams
  • Candidate must be self-aware & have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of quality
  • Hands on, problem solving abilities – “can do” approach (so someone who is a thinker and a doer)
